1. How many shops will be visit and what kind?
We will visit between 10 to 12 local boutiques offering a variety of leather goods, hand-made shoes, statement jewelery, tailored clothing and unique housewares.

2. Are the stores close by?
Our tour runs in the historical El Born neighborhood of Barcelona and the stores we visit are within a 10 minute walking range, so you can always return after the tour if you set your heart on something that you didn’t buy earlier!

3. Is everything made in Barcelona?
The majority of the boutiques we visit showcase things designed and made in Barcelona. Some of them feature other European and global designers, who share the same philosophy of promoting hand-made, local crafts.

4. How much food is provided?
There will be some drinks and a few tapas (snacks) to keep us going during the experience, so I recommend to have a good meal before coming.

5. Do I need to be fit for the walk?
No. The walk is at a gentle pace and we cover around 1 km over a period of 3 to 3.5 hours

6. Is this tour suitable for men?
Yes of course, our tour caters equally for men and women.

7. Where is the meeting point?
Inside La Vinya del Senyor winebar. The bar is in front of the Santa Maria del Mar´s main entrance. (Plaza Santa Maria del Mar 5, 08003. Metro stops on the yellow line are: Jaume I, Barceloneta)

8. Where does the tour end?
The tour will end within close proximity to Santa Maria del Mar church

9.Can I pay in cash on the tour?
Unfortunately the booking and payment needs to be done online through the website.

10. What should I bring with me?
Wear comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a camera. If rain is forecast, please bring an umbrella or poncho.

11. What is your cancellation policy?
Tours are unfortunately non-refundable. In the event of us having to cancel the tour and you are not able to reschedule, your money will be fully refunded.

12. Do you run regardless of the weather?
Tours run rain or shine. In extreme weather conditions we will reach out to you to reschedule.

13. When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
Barcelona is great to visit all year round. The temperature is moderate in Spring and Autumn and quite warm in the summer. In August most Spaniards take their holidays and many locals leave Barcelona. Some local shops and restaurants close for a few weeks in August. There are tons of events happening year round and we recommend a quick look to see what parades/shows are on during your stay here. Check this site for the full listing:
